Your appointment journey at Oasis Fertility

If coming to Oasis without a referral you can expect your journey to treatment to look something like this;

  1. Fertility GP appointment– Your fertility GP will take a thorough history and get to know more about you and your journey thus far.
  2. Work up– Your fertility GP will arrange the required investigations which you will go away to complete. Your work up may consist of blood tests, urine tests, ultrasound scans and semen analysis (if male).
  3. Follow up appointment with Fertility GP– During this appointment your fertility GP will discuss the results of your various investigations and if suitable a referral to an Oasis Fertility Specialist will be made.
  4. Fertility Specialist Appointment–  Your fertility Specialist will revisit your history and test results and together with you tailor a personalised treatment plan.
  5. Nurse Consultation– Our knowledgable nursing team will discuss the finer treatment details with you including medications and schedules.
  6. Ready to commence treatment

At any point in your treatment journey our Wellness Centre may be of benefit to you.

Oasis work closely with a team of health practitioners including acupuncturists, reflexologists and fertility naturopaths to look after your wellbeing.

Mental wellbeing is an essential component of your fertility treatment so it is important to consider whether you could benefit from speaking to our fertility councillor or psychologist.
