Every Fertility Journey Is Unique.

Your Care Should Be Too

Every cycle is different. Every journey is personal. Success rates are only part of the story. At Oasis, we look beyond the numbers to understand you, your circumstances, and your individual path to parenthood.

More than a number

Every fertility journey

is unique.

Understanding IVF success rates can be overwhelming. Every fertility journey is unique, and outcomes are influenced by several factors, such as age, weight, and the underlying cause of infertility. While success rates offer useful benchmarks, they may not fully reflect your individual circumstances.

In Australia and New Zealand, accredited fertility clinics submit treatment data to the University of NSW National Perinatal Epidemiology and Statistics Unit. These figures are compiled annually in the Australian and New Zealand Assisted Reproduction Database report, with data underpinned by ANZARD. This independent resource provides invaluable insights into fertility clinic performance nationwide.

Clinical Pregnancy Rate Per Individual Treatment Attempt

NOTE: This rate provides an overall indication of the clinical pregnancy rate from individual treatment attempts at this clinic. It combines intended fresh and frozen embryo transfers and reflects the chance of a clinical pregnancy from each treatment where embryo transfer was intended. It includes cycles using a woman’s own eggs and excludes cancelled cycles or cycles where all eggs or embryos were frozen for later use. The rate is calculated by dividing the number of clinical pregnancies by the total number of eligible treatment attempts. The national rate is based on all individual treatment attempts undertaken across Australia in the same year.

What do the numbers
mean for you?

You deserve answers that feel personal. Our fertility specialists can help you put the numbers in context and explore the path that’s right for you.

What is a clinical pregnancy?

A clinical pregnancy is a pregnancy confirmed by ultrasound. It is an important treatment milestone, but it is not the same as a live birth. Clinical pregnancy and live birth rates should be considered separately.

Success rates are a useful benchmark, not an individual prediction. Your age, medical history, the cause of infertility and treatment plan all influence your chances. Your fertility specialist can help you understand what the results mean for you.

Your IVF Success is a government-funded resource with clinic comparisons and a personalised estimator. Its data is underpinned by the Australian and New Zealand Assisted Reproduction Database (ANZARD).

No. Some cycles may not proceed to egg collection, fertilisation or embryo transfer. Some may involve freezing all eggs or embryos for later use. Fertility treatment cannot guarantee pregnancy or a live birth.
