Understanding IVF success rates can be overwhelming. Every fertility journey is unique, and outcomes are influenced by several factors, such as age, weight, and the underlying cause of infertility. While success rates offer useful benchmarks, they may not fully reflect your individual circumstances.
In Australia and New Zealand, accredited fertility clinics submit treatment data to the University of NSW National Perinatal Epidemiology and Statistics Unit. These figures are compiled annually in the Australian and New Zealand Assisted Reproduction Database report, with data underpinned by ANZARD. This independent resource provides invaluable insights into fertility clinic performance nationwide.
Clinical pregnancy rate per individual treatment attempt, grouped by age. These figures reflect clinical pregnancies, not live births.
NOTE: This rate provides an overall indication of the clinical pregnancy rate from individual treatment attempts at this clinic. It combines intended fresh and frozen embryo transfers and reflects the chance of a clinical pregnancy from each treatment where embryo transfer was intended. It includes cycles using a woman’s own eggs and excludes cancelled cycles or cycles where all eggs or embryos were frozen for later use. The rate is calculated by dividing the number of clinical pregnancies by the total number of eligible treatment attempts. The national rate is based on all individual treatment attempts undertaken across Australia in the same year.
