Clare Deuchar is an experienced embryologist with over 15 years in assisted reproductive technology, having worked in IVF since 2008. She holds a degree in Molecular Biology and has worked across every aspect of the IVF laboratory, developing deep expertise in embryo culture, embryo assessment, micromanipulation, cryopreservation and quality management. Clare is especially skilled in the ICSI procedure, bringing a calm, precise and technically excellent approach to this delicate work.

Throughout her career, Clare has been committed to providing the highest standard of laboratory care, recognising the vital role embryologists play in every patient’s fertility journey. She combines technical excellence with a calm, compassionate approach, and values working closely with the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients.Having held a senior embryologist position for many years, Clare has developed a strong interest in mentoring colleagues, maintaining high laboratory standards and contributing to continuous quality improvement.

Clare is a member of the Fertility Society of Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ) and the Scientists in Reproductive Technology (SIRT) special interest group.
