Bridget Blackwell
Bridget holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Anatomy & Human Biology from the University of Western Australia (UWA), a Graduate Diploma of Education from UWA, and a Master of Medical Science in Assisted Reproductive Technology from the University of Nottingham.
With a career in assisted reproductive technology beginning in the early 1990s, Bridget has extensive experience in both embryology and biochemistry. Over the course of 25 years, she has worked as an Embryologist across five Australian states and within three clinics in Western Australia. Bridget also served on the Scientists in Reproductive Technology Committee for eight years.
In 2016, Bridget transitioned to a role with the WA Department of Health, where she contributed to the Reproductive Technology Unit (RTU) and the Licensing and Accreditation Regulatory Unit (LARU). This role provided valuable insight into legislation, regulation, policy development, and quality management. Bridget is proud to be a member of the Oasis team and brings a wealth of experience to our team.
