Dr Danel Conradie
Dr Danel is a highly experienced GP with a special interest in women’s health, fertility, and weight loss management. She is a member of the Fertility Society of Australia & New Zealand (FSANZ) and is passionate about providing holistic, patient-centred care.
Dr Danel attained her MBChB degree in South Africa in 1998 and worked as a general practitioner and Acting Medical Manager of a rural hospital until 2010. In 2011, she relocated to Western Australia with her husband and two children, where she continued to practise as a full-time GP. She later attained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
In 2021, Dr Danel was appointed as a Bariatric GP, working within a multidisciplinary team to support patients through the complex journey of weight loss management. This role provided her with extensive experience in both non-surgical and surgical treatment pathways.
Through this work, Dr Danel became deeply aware of the significant impact obesity can have on people’s health and fertility. This insight led her to integrate weight management, fertility care, and women’s health into her scope of practice, with a strong focus on compassionate, individualised care.
When not working at Oasis, Dr Danel also practises at LUMA Health, where she specialises in women’s health support, with a particular interest in endometriosis.
Dr Danel speaks English and is fluent in Afrikaans.
