
Dr Minu Basra
Dr. Minu Basra is a highly experienced General Practitioner with a special focus on fertility and women’s health. She is passionate about supporting couples on their journey to parenthood and empowering women through proactive reproductive care, including cryopreservation.
Dr. Basra began her medical career in India, where she earned her MBBS and completed a Master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Since 2008, she has dedicated her practice to women’s health, first in India and then in Australia, where she relocated with her family in 2017.
After moving to Australia, Dr. Basra pursued further training and achieved Advanced Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG). She further expanded her expertise into family medicine and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
In her current role as a Fertility GP at Oasis Fertility Centre, Dr. Basra is committed to bridging the gap between general practice, specialist care, and fertility services. She believes that early, collaborative, and patient-centred care can significantly improve reproductive outcomes.
Dr. Basra advocates for optimising the health of both partners well before conception and offers compassionate, informed care from pre-conception through pregnancy and beyond. Her holistic and empathetic approach helps patients feel supported, informed, and empowered every step of the way.
