Vicky Wai

Vicky’s journey in the field of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) is both personal and professional. She is a Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist (CMLS) who holds a Master’s in Reproductive Medicine, a Bachelor of Science (Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology) and an Honours degree.

With extensive clinical experience all across Australia she has expertise in a full suite of laboratory services such as andrology, embryology, Preimplantation Genetic Testing and time-lapse incubation coupled with a strong focus on quality management. This includes key areas like accreditation compliance, patient services, patient education, and auditing. Her passion for the field is further evident in her keen interest in oocyte vitrification and blastocyst biopsies.

Vicky’s decision to join Oasis Fertility Centre stems from her commitment to applying the latest cutting-edge technology while keeping ART inclusive and accessible, with the vision of supporting as many families as possible. Her personal experience with severe endometriosis, and successful IVF treatment, deeply informs her dedication to enhancing patient care and the overall patient experience.
